Avigilon CCTV Solution for Golden Island

THE SENSYS SOLUTION

SenSys met with the management team at Golden Island Shopping Center to discuss their requirements in detail. We provided a demo of numerous solutions that we (SenSys Technology) provide such as Hikvision, Axis Communications and Avigilon.

Avigilon was chosen as the solution for the site, for numerous reasons:

• Avigilon is an IP based solution which is Installed on a server instead of a traditional recorder such as an NVR or DVR. This includes a SenSys proactive monitoring tool, which allows us to continuously ping the server and we can detect faults in seconds, and resolve in minutes to minimise downtime for our customers.
• Avigilon provides full solutions from Number plate recognition, Access Control, Cameras, Servers and networking equipment.
• The Avigilon solution provided the higher specification of cameras, which meant we are able to fully meet and exceed the customer’s requirements, whilst coming under budget.
• Avigilon provides a range of cameras from 1-30MP, and we devised a solution with a mixture of 8MP 4K cameras and 3MP bullet cameras.
• Avigilon 8MP cameras have been designed to cover wider areas of the car park, and the 3MP to cover smaller areas. The resolution and high quality of Avigilon cameras allowed us to install fewer cameras whilst covering a wider angle with less blind spots.

Specifically focussing on the key areas that need to be surveilled with excellent HD quality and retaining the existing PTZ cameras installed. SenSys used encoders to convert analogue cameras to IP and integrate onto the new Avigilon HD CCTV system.

This meant that we are able to use the existing cameras, utilizing the existing investment, and delivering fewer cameras means there will be further savings going forward with SenSys maintaining the cameras.
